Understanding Accounts

To use the tools of our growing Goalify ecosystem, you first need to create an account. We call this the Goalify account. Your Goalify account will give you access to our Goalify mobile app and Goalify Professional. This document will walk you through the steps necessary to create your own Goalify account.

Creating an Account

Next to creating your account via the desktop web access or via the Goalify mobile app, you can also create accounts via our API. For further instructions on how to use our API access please see our full API documentation.

Desktop

Quick Setup Tutorial

  1. Visit https://app.goalifypro.com/
  2. Choose the Register Now option
  3. Enter your details
  4. Confirm your account

When you create your Goalify account using the desktop web access, you have to use a valid e-mail address that you have access to.

To create you account, choose the Register Now option and enter the following details:

  • first name
  • e-mail address
  • password

You will have to accept the latest version of our Goalify User Agreement and our privacy policy. Please read both documents in full before choosing to accept them.

You confirm the creation of your account by clicking the Register button. We will immediately send you a verification e-mail to the e-mail address you supplied. Open the link within the e-mail to complete the registration process.

In case you have used the wrong e-mail address or you did not receive your verification e-mail, you can choose to change the address or correct any typing errors. Make sure to click the Send Confirmation E-Mail button.

  1. Download the Goalify mobile App from either the Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore
  2. Swipe through the introduction screens
  3. Enter your first name

When you create your Goalify account using the Goalify mobile app, you are not required to provide an e-mail address, only a first name. We call this an unregistered Goalify account. We strongly urge our users to register their account with a valid e-mail address.

By continuing you are accepting the latest version of our Goalify User Agreement and our privacy policy. Please read both documents in full before choosing to continue them. To finish the creation of your unregistered account tap the Start button.

Register your Account

Goalify mobile app always synchs your data with our servers, independent of the registration state of your account. However, using an unregister account, you will not be able to sign in on several devices at the same time or re-access your account data when you loose access to your phone. You will also not be able to access our desktop web access.

To register your account on the Goalify mobile app, open the main menu and switch to the Account dashboard. Tap the Register button on the top of the screen. You will have to provide a first name and e-mail address. Confirm your entry.

We will immediately send you a verification e-mail to the e-mail address you supplied. Open the link within the e-mail to complete the registration process. You do not have to open the verification link on your mobile device.

It might take a few moments for the Goalify mobile app to display the successful registration of your account.

Deleting an Account

Deleting your Account

You may choose to delete your account at any time. Be aware that this step CANNOT be undone and you will not be able to recover your account. All data you chose to share and any data connected to a Goalify Professional license will be lost.

Desktop

Using the desktop web access, visit the account dashboard. Select the Account tab and click the red DELETE THIS ACCOUNT button. You will need to confirm this action twice.

Goalify mobile app

Using the Goalify mobile app, open the main menu and switch to the Account dashboard. Scroll to the very bottom of the dashboard and click the red DELETE ACCOUNT button. You will need to confirm this action.
