Billing

You can try a fully functional trial of Goalify Professional free for 14 days. After your trial period you need to purchase one of our monthly subscription plans to keep using Goalify Professional. This document covers some important aspects of our billing process.

Available Plans

Goalify Professional currently offers three monthly subscription plans.

Here are some details about each plan:

Coach

This is the perfect plan for individuals who have a number of clients they want to empower. You have access to all the important features, and you don't have to pay for collaboration features that you might not need.

Team

Our team plan lets you invite an additional coach to help you in your coaching endeavors. You also get access to the integrated team chat and all the advanced features. You can also choose to purchase additional coaching licenses if needed.

Corporate

This plan is best if you need to support different groups of clients. With the ability to create multiple teams you can create separate coaching environments. This is the perfect solution if you are working with independent business mandates, or you need to model your corporate structure according stringent access permissions.

Understanding Billing

Purchase Options

To purchase a subscription you need to be logged into your Goalify account on Goalify Professional. You can start your purchase from your account dashboard.

Payments are Processed by paddle.com

When you purchase your first subscription, you need to register your payment details with our payment provider paddle.com. This is done from within Goalify Professional. As our merchant of record, paddle.com will be processing your payments and providing your receipts. We do not have access to your payment details at any time.

You only need to register your payment details once. Subsequent changes to your subscription only need to be confirmed. To make changes to your subscription you need to provide your password, even when already logged in. This is to add an extra layer of protection to your account.

Billing Cycle

A billing cycle starts with your purchase of one of our monthly subscription plans. You are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle for the full amount due.

If you decide to purchase additional licenses or upgrade your subscription plan, you will be billed the prorated amount immediately. If you decide to downgrade your plan, we will try to prorate already processed payments with your next billing cycle.

Purchasing additional licenses or changing your subscription do not affect your billing cycle.

Up & Downgrading

You can up and downgrade your subscription plan at any time by visiting your account dashboard. While you can always upgrade to a higher subscription plan, you need to make sure that your current licensing structure is supported by the smaller plan when downgrading.

Here is a quick example:

You can downgrade from the Corporate plan to the Team plan even if you have additional coach licenses employed. However, you must only have one active team, since the Team plan only supports one team. To be able to downgrade you need to make sure that you have not more than one active team.

Receipts

You will be e-mailed a receipt for each successful payment. You will be able to add or update your business address, using the included link.

You can also access all your receipts from the account dashboard.

Canceling Subscription

  1. Switch to the Account menu
  2. Open the Your Subscription tab
  3. With the Actions button, select the Cancel Subscription option

You can cancel your active subscription at any time. You will not be refunded for already processed payments. While we do not delete any of your coaching data, most of the features will be locked and you will have only very limited access to your coaching data.

If you decide to purchase another subscription, your account will be unlocked.

Failed Payments

There are many reasons for a payment to fail, and you will be notified via e-mail should a recurring payment fail. With the notification you will receive a link to update your payment details with our payment processor paddle.com. Make sure to correct problems within seven days. We will try three times to process your payment within that period.

If the payment fails permanently, we will lock your account and you will need to purchase a new subscription to access your coaching data.

Understanding Licenses

Each subscription plan comes with a limited number of licenses for different user roles. Owners on a team or corporate plan can purchase additional licenses to accommodate their needs.

Each additional license is added on-top of your subscription plan and increases its monthly due. If you need to downgrade a license make sure it is no longer used.

Who is Paddle?

We strongly believe in data security, especially when it comes to billing information. That is why we have outsourced our billing to paddle.com, a global payment processor with years of experience. All billing data is stored by paddle.com and will not be shared.

As our merchant of record, paddle.com will be processing your payments and providing your receipts. We do not have access to your payment details at any time.

Accessing Receipts

  2. Open the Receipt tab

You can access all receipts via your Account dashboard. You will also receive each receipt via e-mail.
